Instead of just matching the calling piece, students need to solve the problem before knowing if they have what is being called. For example, in our Math Facts Addition Bingo game, the calling piece may be "2 + 1". But here's the trick: the bingo card has the answer to the problem. So, the players need to solve the problem 2 + 1 in order to know that the "3" on their bingo card is the answer.
